You did read correctly, in part, I am not on a sled for the first time in 34 years. I have been dealing with issues stemming from a DVT (deep vain thrombosis), in other words, a BIG azz blood clot in my right leg. I have decided that I needed to take a timeout as this is a serious issue. Nonetheless, it doesn't keep me from a love for the sport or, the current conditions, after all, I am a "weather junkie" & a lifetime Yooper!-Mezz

Thanks for your kind words. Unfortunately, there is no real "cure". I will more than likely be on a blood thinner for the rest of my life, which in itself adds a bit of additional dangers by way of getting banged up & internal bleeding. The real physical issue is the nerve damage in my right foot due to this thing which has diminished the feeling. Being an avid lover of riding the backwoods, moving about the sled became a real challenge. Believe me, it was a very bitter pill to swallow, but, I like life & I can't complain about my 34 years of riding, it's been real good to me. Maybe I can get back at it in the future in a different venue of riding, we'll see. Thanks again & be safe out there.-Mezz
