Sitting on the pier on Satuday around 4pm and this situation developed. Two muskies, a male and a female swam under the pier in their mating ritual, apparently the male aggressively rubs, bumps, and nips at the female until she drops her eggs and this is what he was doing in these series of pictures. This went on for over an hour as they swam back and forth from one point to the other and back. Kind of cool....you can also see in one of the pictures that the male is pretty beat up, perhaps the female got sick of his advances and attacked him?
