Melted small part of bibs to motorcycle exhaust

So i was out riding with the wife today and a small part of her bibs got melted to the exhaust. I was just wondering if there is anyway to get it off without wrecking the pipe.....Thanks!!!

Goo gone and finger nails. Do not use anything metallic to scrap with. Nice day for a ride.

Any good chrome polish will take that off.I melted some nylon on the pipe of my Super glide once and it worked taking that off.

use 000 steel wool and soapy water will come right off

I have used oven cleaner in the past and it worked great. Run the engine for a bit to get the pipes nice and hot, then spray the oven cleaner onto a rag and wipe off. DON'T spray the pipes, because any overspray will eat whatever it touches on your bike.

ooo steel wool works great on any chrome

the easy off oven cleaner has worked the best for me. no scratching of the chrome.
