No doubt need more snow, but its ok around Mercer. Snowing as I type locals say suppose to get 1 to 3 inches tonight. 3 inches would probably make for good riding. 10 miles north of Mercer twice as much snow and trails are pretty decent. Hurley is calling for 5 to 8 inches tonight.
I rode last week and there was a lot of gravel mixed in the snow on the grade and plowed gravel roads. I burned through a set of dual 6 inch carbides in just 150 miles. not riding until more snow. The wear on the carbides alone cost more than drinks,food and gas combined. let alone the heat exchangers getting hammered with rocks. The snow was so thin on the grade you heared grinding gravel all the way to hurley.
