Mercer Area Sno-Goers Snowmobile Club March 18
Mercer area trails will remain open until Friday morning, at which time they will be reassessed on a daily basis. Conditions as of today are very good, some bare spots along the roads and in town. Riding in the woods is some of the best we have seen all year. Northern Iron County trails are closed effective immediately due to flooding issues. Trail 17 will be shut off at 3-10 road. Riders will be able to travel South as Vilas county will be assessing their trails on Wednesday. The Flowage continues to be marked and is passable, but we recommend staying on the trail as off the trail is very slushy.
The following trails are still open – 17 south of 310 Rd, 9 south, 10, 11, 12, 14, 19, 20 21, 23, 51 & 182.
Thank you for your cooperation during this seasonal transition time.
All Northern Iron County snowmobile and ATV trails will be closed effective Monday, March 18, 2019 at 8:00 am. Gates along the trails will be closed. The following trails are closed – 17 north of 310 road, 77, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9 north of trail 11, 13 & 15.
