Mercer trail conditions?

Can any tell me what Mercer trails are like. The, 9's, the 12's, and the 13's. (I don't like riding the 8's as much since they started plowing so many of the roads in the area.) I checked the Great Northern Motel webcams and it shows thin, brown, grainy snow. It the other trails pretty decent but thin. Could there be over heating issues. Our club has a trip planned for MLK weekend so I would like to keep the members informed. Thank you.

I'm in Presque Isle, not that far from Mercer, and Trail 15, up to 6, from Boulder to presque Isle is all snirt and dirt, but people are still out there riding. Why - I don't know, I guess they don't care about maintaining equipment, or just don't care about their sleds. Even the trails that are covered have about a 2-3" base at most.
I saw a group at Coontail in Boulder yesterday, and thought about asking them what they were thinking. By the looks of them, they weren't the sharpest knives in the drawer.
I haven't even had my sleds out of the garage yet. Haven't had any significant snow in a week...so unusual.

That is what I always thought. One time I bought a used Phazer, rode it for 2,000 miles and sold it for $500 less than I bought it. Sometimes buying used is not all that bad.

thats why I said its a Gamble, some times you win, some times you loose
sleds tend to clean up on the put side pretty well, but HOW and what was done before them washings and cleanings?? can be scary

all the more so to guys that have ZERO plans of long term ownership, they bail before crap starts failing knowing what they did, and sucker some poor sap into spending there $$

a shame, but it is the modern way for a large portion of sellers today!
NO care about being honest!, just want YOUR $$ and away you go!

I had to laugh you’re sounding just like me when I lived in Phelps. I would drive RT 70 all along trail 10 to Eagle River and wonder why the heck people would ride crap conditions? Only answer I reasoned was people were up lodging paid and they were GOING TO RIDE. Me I stayed parked waited for good conditions but not everyone has that luxury.

White dust that makes sense! My Son went to College in Whitewater & met a fine young gal from Waterford & got Married to her April 2020. They just bought a house in Burlington and she teaches school in Waterford and he teaches school in Mukwonago! Maybe you know them, Nannemann family!

Trails didn't sounds great from a buddy of mine that was just up there, they returned today. His opinion not worth the money to travel north to ride at the moment. Some decent riding in woods and off main trails but overall he said was poor for up there. Anyone from SE WI knows their poor or fair up there is rated as good in the SE corner of the state. So I guess it depends on what your expectations are. They ended up trailering 2 of their 4 days 1 day Bayfield county and another Sawyer County and said trails were ok as traffic is much less. Overall though sounded like not worth the time/ money investment. We just cancelled out trip to Mercer today hopefully things turn around in another week or two. Sounds like they did get 1-2" overnight but not exactly what they were hoping for. WHERE IS WISCONSIN WINTER?!
