Here's wishing you and your family will have a Happy Holiday. We'll be on the road for a couple of days visiting family, eating, watching football, eating again, and opening presents. One of my fondest Christmas memories was the year that Dad bought our first snowmobile, he had it delivered on Christmas Eve. I must've looked like Ralphie opening up that Red Rider, that or the Leg Lamp.

The forecast for many of us hasn't turned out like we'd hoped but there maybe some good to come of it. If the warm temps and even some rain help set up a good base on the trails before the cold stuff gets here, well that would be great. We've seen that scenario before as recent as 2013/14. I've always felt that if I'm riding by Christmas that that would be a bonus because it usually doesn't happen in much of Wisconsin. So, I'll remain positive for another couple of weeks before I start dropping the curse words on the TV Weatherman. Have a Merry Christmas, travel safely, and be careful you.... Merry Christmas to all. Don't sweat the forecast around Christmas. I am an absolute snow fanatic and I live in..... Louisiana. I've never been on a snowmobile, but take my family on occasional "blizzard chases". We've been to the Keweenaw twice, and absolutely love the area. We are flying into Minneapolis on December 30th, and will drive up to Houghton for a few days over New Years. Back to my original point. We get excited down here if we get ten minutes of sleet to start a rainy day. So this little blip in the forecast is no biggie. The positive attitude above is awesome, and I'm thrilled to see that it looks like we will hit things at the right time, and see plenty of snow for snow shoeing, snow tubing, and having a pint or two at the end of the day as we gaze out the window, watch the snow fly, and dream of our next trip to the great white north. Can't wait!!
