No, I don't know her, however, I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night! LOL!,, I actually saw her very first video on you tube last year courtesy of one of my Aunts via e-mail, the song has not changed since, but, the video was redone. This really took off for this "One Hit Wonder" (so far) & I find it most appropriate, as it seems that we have forgotten the real reason for the season. I'm glad you enjoyed it, I did, & I am not a "Country" boy in the slightest, but I enjoyed the message it brings.-Mezz In part, here is the story, " A holiday song prompted by a 4 year olds question "Where's the line to see Jesus?" & recorded by Becky Kelly has gone viral on YouTube with more than a half million hits in less than 2 weeks. Kelly, 30, said that the response to the song & video has been amazing. Since the video had taken off she had been fielding phone calls from radio station DJ's & record producers, "who are you?, Do you have anything else? What other records do you have?" I have to tell them, this is it, I don't have anything else. The song was prompted by the question from Kelly's nephew while they were standing in line at a mall to see Santa. She mentioned it to her father with a background as a pianist & he wrote a song around the idea. They recorded it last year & made a demo video with the help of Kelly's cousins. Kelly knew music producer Chris Loesch & asked him to listen to what they had, he helped tweak the song with a stronger chorus & a new second verse & got Kelly & her father into the studio with a full band. "We went all out" Loesch said, "We thought we had something special". Then they got cinematographer Chris Benson to make the video, the result is one of the hottest Christmas songs online this holiday season."
