I think that's great! I've almost had collisions with idiots on jet skis. They were young kids. I must say that I totally dislike anyone in a pleasure craft that is disrupting my fishing. That's because they disrupt me by violating the law and getting too close. Hopefully this rule keeps some of the idiots off of the water.

What we lack on the water ways is respect for our fellow boater, jetski'er & fisherman. Thus the root of the problem.
Other than the big lake, most of the water ways here are small, thus trying to accomodate too many boaters at once.
The hundred foot rule seems ok, but I would rather see my kids keep that distance apart.
However, I do not let them just run wild.

Kids on jet skis are a major problem on the Grand River and Lake Michigan. Glad to here the rules are tougher. Parasites are what the are at the pier head, nasty buggers! Wake makers, wake jumpers.
