Baraga Co. has groomed Trail 14 east of L'Anse multiple times, including a fresh groom yesterday evening. The multiple crossings I saw from Arvon & Dynamite Hill roads looked really good, but overall they are reporting their entire trail system in poor shape before yesterday's snow.

Several inches of fresh snow last night from Munising to the west. Much improved conditions this morning. I was in Marquette last night and was surprised their trails through town looked decent, except the lakeshore section.

Republic north on 5 is flat and fast. I probably would not start any farther south. But I left Monday morning so I dont know how much they got.

Dropped at koski's Saturday and rode. Got thin towards Marquette, 82 & 5 was good flat and fast, didn't get south of republic as stated gets thin. 8 west of 5 had a bunch of water holes, definitely use caution if night riding. Overall wasn't bad for early season/marginal snow & having a 1st timer riding so took it easy.

Where did you park/drop at Koski's and how did you access the trail? Thanks.

Parked right at the station on the south side. Talked to David inside and got permission to off-load. If ride north across 41 from the pumps/station there is a sign with arrow pointing to trail, we head West over the train tracks and just follow the sled tracks. Not sure if it ever gets groomed, usually a bit moguled out but takes you through some woods, at road take a right, road turns to trail and takes you to trail 5. Hope that helps you
