This is a pledge that the M.S.A. has come up with. It is a good pledge to take. As far as a law no but if you get busted drunk driving a sled I think it will go onto your driving record. At least if you are a Michigan resident it will. Correct me if I am wrong here????

Can't speak for out of state riders, but yes, almost positive it goes on your record if you're a Michigan resident.

Absolutely correct.....michigan drinking and driving laws apply to riding sleds also....doesn't matter what state rider is from and limit is .08 for impaired. They can impound your sled and u get a pretty hefty fine on top of that. Michigan likes to make u jump thru hoops when u get a alcohol ticket! All boils down to revenue maker for the state.....that being said before the site cops jump on me......I don't drink and ride or ride with anyone that does.....we save it for when the sleds are parked for the night.

Geuss i should clarify that a bit more.....The "0" tolerance is a pledge MSA promotes riders to take......The state "laws" for driving automobiles also apply to snowmobiles in Michigan.

So in otherwords, take a breatholizer tester with you and if you can keep it under .08, your good to go!

PS...just let me know where you are sledding so I can head the udder way!

That's a silly question...to the next bar! Actually I like to keep my level at .1325, they give you a little room.
