I did it with a sled I bought in Minnesota, brought it to Michigan and registered it with just a bill of sale. I told them I need a registration for this sled I got from a dealer in Bankruptcy a couple states over. And what do I do? They charged me sales tax, registration and maybe some other nickle /dime charges. I was mad about the sales tax but got all the paper work done at the Seceritary of state office right then and there. nash please fix spelling for me! it is late. The sled was new 2 yr. carry over. that should not matter.
