Has anybody got there Mich. stickers on line. There was no place to get them thru the DNR. If anybody got them on line leave the sight where you got them.

man another $20 more to ride this year up there. Still hoping to come up for 3 days after xmas and almost have to plan another trip after dumping $90 for my two sleds.

I found the online MI DNR site has all the info you need.

Michigan Trail Permits will remain at $45. for 5 years. There is a list of selling agents on www.msasnow.org
You can also use www.msasnow.org to get trail reports for different areas. Just click on trail reports and then click on the snowflake of your interest. Many areas have not begun reporting yet for this season.

Well... you could look at it this way.... " The world will end on 12-21-12 " so you better get all the riding in this season that you can. I'm going to, plus it's 180 for me.

Can we buy snow ???? from someone ?

If I remember correctly, last year there were two sizes on the stickers. If so, where can we get the smaller dimension stickers?

The trail permits I got from the MSA office are the smaller ones.....seems like the sporting goods stores tend to have the larger ones they they print out as needed.....I also prefer the smallers ones they look better and hold up better.

For smaller ones, purchase direct from MSA off their website www.msasnow.org or from selling agents-as listed on their website. The larger ones are issued thru the DNA machines that are used to also purchase hunting, fishing, ATV, snowmobile, & specialty licenses

45 bucks plus a WI registration fee of $30. Last year I started tipping the groomers as they go by, and probably spend $50 doing this each time we venture into the UP. Hotel, food, gas, oil, adult beverages, parts - Way to go MI DNR, thanks a lot. A 6% sales tax and 21.3 cent gas tax. What gives? Rant over. We luv the UP.

Trail permits may also be purchased from the Keweenaw Convention & Visitors Bureau in Calumet. They are the orginal State issued permits, not a system printed state permit. I do prefer the State issued permits as they will void if someone tries to pull them off, the computer printed state permits lift right off plus they are big & ugly.-Mezz
