I'm looking for any kind of feedback on the Mole Lake Casino & Lodge in Crandon WI, we've got a big trip coming up real fast and wondering if anyone's been there, and what do you think? Any recommendations or suggestions. How are there facilities for trailers and snowmobile parking? Security? Anything would be helpful.

Mole lake is not too bad..stayed there twice last year...The resturant is ok..but nothing special. Trails are not marked very well in that area..but are rather scenic, and have low traffic..trails are marked better down near pickeral, and down to lily.....but, I actually liked carter better, the trails that run south out of carter towards lakewood/ townsend are awesome!!! Also found a great steak house on Hwy 32 south of lakewood...can't recall the name....Southern forest county has some nice trails..but we got turned around a couple of times due to poor signage...and their was no sign saying mole lake casino this way until you got to with in 5 miles of the casino..had no problem in the carter area..marked very well. Also IMO the food at the casino in carter is much better than mole lake. both motels are pretty nice, and have trail access, with decent parking for trailers.

Thanks for the input, also looking for any feedback on the trail system im Forest Co., haven't really been in that direction as much as other areas, I know Bryan T. mentioned the signage isn't the greatest. Anybody else?

Motel good - Casino yuk!

The motel and pool area are nice and fairly new - within the last three years. The triple chicken shack casino buildings suck as does the "new" non-ventilated bar. The acoustics in the bar are so bad, you can barely talk to someone next to you.

The trails in the area are the best maintained in the state.

Enjoy the pool and room and stay on the great trails as long as possible.

We have been going up there since 1978, staying at a friends cottage.
Now that the new motel is there , we've been staying there.
Easy in and out once you get to know the trail system.
We have 3 weekend trips in a row for there in a few weeks.
Great food at Hills Still just down the road.

We just rode to Mole Lake yesterday. We know the area pretty well, but the signage isnt the greatest in that area like others have said, but Ive ridden in alot worse signed areas too. Nice trails, though more snow would be great. Its not a very big casino, and Ive never stayed at the Motel, as we have a place within 30 miles of there. Most of the trails are really nice up in that part of the state.

I would say that it is one of the best places We have stayed at. They give you Casino credit for buying there gas, they give you money off for there Breakfast buffet, when you check in they give you Casino credit all this for each day you stay there. Rooms are really nice, friendly staff, parking is good, trail is out the back of the lot. (big parking lot)Trails were really nice (low traffic) marked good too. A+
