Moline IL Quad city area

Howdy all,

My fam is heading south to Moline area for 2 days.. We are going to a country music concert there on Sunday and are looking for some stuff to do. I think my boys, want to see the JD pavilion area for a tour and scope it out.

any other advice? We can easily fill our time but I'm wondering if any of you have some tips!

If you have younger kids (8 & under or so) check out the family museum in Bettendorf. There is also a boat show in Davenport all weekend, you can get 2-1 admission coupons online. Went to the boat show last year and it was fun.

The Barrell House is very close to the I-wireless center and won't be as busy as other places.

There is a ton to do there in the summer, but slows down in the winter. If you want any more information let me know.

Thanks a ton, we are heading out tomorrow morn and will be looking at things all nite before we go.

Just got home from the I wireless. You will like the JD Pavilion. ndfbfan is right, slows way down in the winter. A lot of different places to eat and a few movie theaters. You will probably be using the pool at the hotel quite abit.
You'll have a TGI Fridays right in the parking lot of the hotel. They have pretty good food.
What do you like to eat, I can let you know where to go?
Can't believe your coming all the way down this way, must really like the bands.Lol.
Got an idea, you come down and stay at my place, and I will go stay at your place and take my sled. I'll let my wife know she will be having some company.Lol

I was thinking about trying a BBQ joint on Sunday for an early dinner.
I googled them and they said Famous Dave's, Dickey's BBQ pit, and some Rib haven place,

Any advice?
btw, my kids are infatuated with Florida Georgia Line, and Jason Aldean.

Hey, Jim's Rib Haven has great ribs, a little pricey, and in kind of a bad part of town. Famous Dave's is good, and Dickey's also is good.
I have my shovel ready to go! I'll clean that roof for ya!
That will be a good concert. I hope you and your family have a good time in the Quads. You guys will surely get the prize for coming the furthest distance. Lol.

We are at the Holiday Inn in Rockford. Got it for $89 and i can see why!

Anyway snowin like a bugger headed to Moline in the morn

Hey now... Hope you're talking about the motel, not the town... Welcome to town, just left that area probably when you were typing. Had dinner just down the street from you.

Ya the hotel! I like the area. Lotsa ants here. Sorta weird in the winter but.........the pool area is infested with them.

Hit the texas roadhouse tonight.
