Moose in da UP

Heres a quick post since it seems a little slow around here. Looks like the local loose moose is growing up a little, the one pic is same spot Memorial Weekend 2008 and the second is last Saturday. Its cool to seem the population is healthy and he even had a possible girlfriend across the pond that I didnt get a pic of. Think Snow.......

I seen a cow moose Just east of Wakefield this spring, I was driving on U.S. 2 when I saw what looked like a deer come out of the woods towards the road than thought no that was too big for a deer turned around and sure enough cow moose. Very cool!

Too early for girl friends...couple more months and he will be a call'n....sure hope he doesn't travel thru Ishpeming....just going thru town can be hazardous to his health.
