these are 2 fun guys to ride with. We had a major blast riding backwoods last year and I hope we can get another good day of riding like we did than. Mark,,, you thinking about a backwoods thrasher sled? Your rush is way to nice to scuff up but the blast we had is priceless?

Steve, Mark... hope your ready to ride because the Yammi is hitting the bench real soon and gettin modded out

Hey Lenny,

I replied to this thread but for some reason it never showed up! It was a great time last year on our ride. Steve and I are looking forward to coming up again this year. We hope to be up the weekend of the Ride In.

I can't wait to see the mods on the Yammi! I am looking for a cheaper RMK but I'm struggling with buying another sled to ride just 2 weekends a year. I used to have 4 sleds and just last year got down to 2 and that's enough work and expense! I will always be a trail rider first.

Can't wait to get together again! Let it snow.

Take care,

Mark

Mark I can"t see you rubbing that new Adventure on trees I know I would not do it. Saw new Adventure at Trackside way too nice a sled to take off trail in da UP woods. I don't know how guys can do it to a shiney new sled? I'm too anal about my stuff to do that. Buds would kid me that my sled looked cleaner after the ride than when I started been known to wipe my sled with snow trailside while everybody else was chit chatting.lol:)

I am the same way with my sleds. My FST had 12,000 miles on it and looked almost like new! I only had 500 miles on my Adventure and we had to go around a downed tree and it was not pretty. It would have really helped to have a small saw! I don't want any scratches on mine either!

I have the sawblade in my all purpose tool had to use it last year to get thru the Kimball trail in 3 Lakes WI after the 20" dump. Got all sweaty but worth it no scratches. Also had another downed pine on unplowed FR I use to get to trails & had to run over that tree but snow was deep enough to get me over without any issues. Yep just do what you have to do sometimes:)

not saying I am right but if I own a sled I am riding it the way I want to ride it and if that means I bang a few trees or brush against some limbs so be it. I aint having fun unless I am pushing it. I had scuffs on my brand new M8 the first day out and couldn't care less. To each his own I guess but look what you'll be missing and you already admitted you had fun riding back country.

Lenny is fun to ride with. Just don't park behind him and make sure you tell him to make your burger just a little more greasy!

I hear ya lenny going to happen off trail also need duct tape & wire for that eventful day, I'm more like Mark keep my Attak on trail & unplowed Frs. Too dang heavy in powder anyway so would buy something else for that like older RMK but like Mark want to limit number of sleds so just don't do some things anymore.:)
