Snow is sugar and starting to get snirty in some corners, We have not had any real accumulation for a while, dry low humidity conditions with no moisture content in the snow, groomers are doing what they can but after 10 or 20 sleds go thru, it just blows the sugar snow out of the holes and you have marginal conditions again, (not the groomers fault). Once you get away from town Musining is pretty good during the week, Grand Marais West , all the 8,s were decent but East 8 toward pine stump was pretty bad Tuesday and Wed. I dont think it had been groomed for a while. TASA (Newberry) was pretty good away from town. Seney was very good. South of Wetmore and Munising, 8, 7, 411, 2, 413, 41, the Buck Horn, Big Springs , Jack Pine and Stuben area's were were all good These reports are based on my Monday Through Thursday January 27 - 30 riding days. Above average temps for a few days and no snow is not going to help. There is enough snow but could always use more.
