Stayed in Wetmore over the weekend, plenty of snow and very little traffic. More snow as you went East. They are under a heavy LES warning now until Friday so you should be good. Hopefully Seney will have their groomers fixed, I think they had both down and trail 8 from Shingleton to where Gran Marais takes over was a nut buster.

Could be irony but I chose The Kee over Munising and all 200 miles ridden today we're drive as fast as you care to as trails were magnificent.
Anywhere East of Wetmore is great. Rode Wednesday afternoon thru Friday, The Plains, Grand Marais, Seney, Pine Stump & Paradise are all excellent. Did 649 miles in 2 1/2 days both trail & off trail. Some areas North of Seney got more than a foot and a half of fresh powder on Thursday night, what a blast it was Friday morning. At well over200 miles a day, we seen a total of 12 sleds Wed. about 20 on Thurs. & by Friday evening there were too many weekend racers than I cared to deal with on my side of the trail, That's why I ride during the weekdays. All Seney groomers are in working order again & trails are in very good shape for the first week of January. Have fun & be safe.
