Holy No Trafffic! Well, it was a Thursday ride and they tend to be pretty good. Today was one of my most enjoyable rides I have taken all year. All trails were either perfect or no worse than an 8 on the 1-10 scale. It was -15 below Wednesday night so they had set up very nicely. Even near towns and roads there wasn't too much snirt or melting going on (we did get a couple light snows this past week to freshen up things a bit). I saw about 12 riders today on my ride and all were very courteous and were on there side of the trail. I have a bunch of photos that I wanted to attach but everyone that I attempted to attach it noted that the file was too large! This is happening alot lately, is 3.4mb a large photo size?
In looking at the weekends forecast Friday should be a great day on the trails up here but it may get a little dicey on Saturday. The forecast right now is ugly for Saturday with high of 39 and freezing rain turning to just rain in the afternoon. Sunday still freezing rain until it cools down in the afternoon and switches to a little snow. If all that happens the trails will take a beating. We will be driving down to Naperville, IL to visit with our daughter on Friday and its supposed to be 69 on Saturday there. Hope you can get some riding in on Friday and that they are wrong about Saturday.
