I need to add another sled to the fleet. Was thinking of buying a new one for me but instead thought the cheaper way would be to buy another sled for the wife/kid to share.

Was looking at the 550X at the dealer the other day. Anyone out there have one and could share some input?

I have never owned a fan engine before and curious about the performance and the issues with running them in the warmer spring time temps.

I had one, actually just traded one in this year for a TNT 600. It definetley would be a great sled for the kid/wife. Doesn't do all that well in the deep powder for boondocking. But great on the trails. Good buy! Good luck on making a deal! and Ride On!

Oh yeah! Forgot one thing! Warmer temps usually are not a problem with the fan cooled. Never ever had mine overheat on me. Was a great runner, had absolutley NO issues with it what-so-ever.

Fan in warm temps

The only issue with a fan in warmer temps is that they lose power.

Other than that I've had fewer issues with a fan in warm temps than with a liquid cooled.
