My New Ride!

I'm pretty excited about my new ride so I thought I would share it. About 5 years ago I bought a Outlander 330 2-wheel drive just to see if I would enjoy the sport (I did). The thoughts were if I did like it I would then give that to my wife and I would buy a 800. Well my wife didn't get into it right away and I was quite happy with the 330 on the U.P. trails so I just kept riding. Well its been 5 years now and its time for an upgrade as I find myself riding many miles in the U.P.. I started looking and I came across a 2007 Outlander Max XT 400 w/46 miles on it that was sitting in a guys garage for the last few years. He bought it for one trip and then never used it. It was a deal and I bought it! The fact that it is a 400 doesn't bother me at all since I have been riding a 330 for so long and love it. The 400 Max XT will be a huge upgrade for me!

nice I just picked up a 09 same as yours not as low of miles (270) this summer haven't had time to use it though I mostly bought it for snowplowing, I hope it handles the snow.

"Marko" Congrats on your new ride! So far I like mine, would of liked the efi that you got on yours though. You need to get out and ride that thing! I am also in the SE part of Michigan but I do all my riding (snow & atv) out of Brevort in the U.P.. Let me know if you ever have the urge to ride out of that area. I know all the trails and some great stops for lunch etc. The motel across from our condo is only $50 per night, clean, and is right on trail!

Well I have about 250 miles on it now and all is good. Had a horrible wobble/shake between 40-50 and after doing some reading found out that those nice tires and rims that come on the XT are garbage! Had them balanced and all is good but one of the rear tires was 7oz off! Seems that allot of guys had the same problem with the XT Tires. Kind of a shame they would call that a upgrade???? Installed some Kolpin boxes for my trips, changed all the fluids and installed my Garmin Nuvi 500. I'm ready!
