Any one have a issue with there 07 phazer fx not starting.I changed oil last nite let engine warm up to get oil hot then shut off and changed oil. After chagning oil ran engine to op temp to recheck oil level all was great. Hauled sled up to grayling from flint and got to unload and nothing engine cranks but wont fire. Possibly last nite when i pulled sled onto trailer i could of fouled out the plug? I let engine warm up before pulling on trailer but maybe i killed the engine too soon causing plug to foul out? Not sure what to do dont wanna take it to dealer to spend a fortune if i can fix at home n garage. Please help if any one has had this issue thanks.

did it flood?can it flood?my two stroke will fill with gas if hauled with more than half tank of fuel without the gas turned off.i just pull the plugs and pull till it's not fogging out the holes.make sure your key is off or you'll get big flames

If it's flooded, what I had to do once was take off the seat and disconnect the fuel pump (big gray plug) and turn it over until it's cleaned out. Someone on ty4stroke.com suggested that and it worked great for me.

Mine won't start right now either, even after that trick, so I'm thinking I fouled my plugs. It's a pain to replace them, and I haven't had time to mess with it yet.

Well im going out in the garage now to work on it.Gonna go with soem advice and disconnect fuel pump and turn over a few times try to clear out the cylinders. If that dont work im going to check plugs. I got most plastic off sled last nite after i got home from grayling. Bad news is if i have to pull gas tank off it will suck big time cuz its filled to the top with fuel lol... So wish me luck..

Got plugs out and im guessing they were fouled out they are both black and look wet with fuel. I cranked engine with plugs out trying to clear cylinders outs and a little gas shot out. I am trying to dry plugs off and clean them then going to reinstall plugs and try firing sled back up. Cross my fingers this works.

Well no luck cleaning and drying off plugs. Put old plugs back n after drying n cleaning and nothing no start just drained battery.Took plugs back out and they are wet with gas. Could having the battery not completey charged have anything to do with this problem? Or should i just buy new plugs tmrw and install them and try to start up? I hope i dont have a engine problem thats flooding out my plugs.... What would cause soo much fuel to build up in the cylinder and foul out my plugs?

Are you turning it over with the throttle open? Since I'm used to trying to start old flooded 2 strokes by holding the throttle open, I made the mistake of doing that on my Phazer when it seemed flooded until someone on a forum said never to do that with a 4 stroke. The quote was "you WILL foul your plugs."

I have the 2007 Phazer tech manual as a PDF. If you want me to send it to you, let me know.

get new plugs and charge the battery, went through same thing last week except i tried charging the battery first before hassel of changing plugs . these new sleds with computers in them really need fully charged batteries to work right

I think that with the battery not being fully charged it wasnt sending the right volts to the coil to ignite the plug in the first place then while i was cranking and cranking the engine it fouled out plugs. So i got battery on trickle charger all day while i work then on way home im grabbing a set of plugs and gonna give it a shot with fully charged battery and brand new plugs. Will report later this evening to report how it went. Thanks for all the advice.

Its ALIVE...... After charging battery and getting new plugs it fired right up real quick...
Thank god it wasnt a ignition or engine problem that would of put a huge damper on my riding season..... 30 bucks in plugs and a charged battery and a little bit of elbow grease into pulling crap apart to get to the plugs and shes up n running.

Ouch - $30 for the plugs? Anyway, glad you got it running. Hopefully mine will do the same once I replace the plugs. Just haven't had any time to do it yet.

I guess ill be sure to keep my battery charged haha.. Any way thanks to all who gave me advice, its nice to have a place and people to talk to about technical crap.
