They Boys are pretty Hungry waiting for the fawns to be born! Bears out early with nice weather! DNR needs to trim Wolf and Bear Populations if they want to help our dwindling Deer herd!

We have seen them by our place in Star Lake too, not to far from you. I use to like to take a walk but now I am freaking out about it. According to the dnr map they have radio collar tracked them right about where the cabin is. We have heard them howling at night too. Had to wait for a black one to get off the snowmobile trail behind Vinchis Hillside before too. You wonder if his buddies aren't coming from behind. I just don't trust them.
Makes the hair on your neck stand up.

The WI DNR should consider some type of hunting season on them up North as the numbers of wolves continue to grow to keep the numbers in check. MN DNR should do the same. Thanks for posting the cool pics.

I work with a guy that has a place in the Boulder Junction area. He was told that there are 2 wolves that are getting a little too friendly, because people are actually feeding them. Who in their right mind would feed a wolf. Looking for trouble if you ask me.
