Naubinway to Tahquanemon and phone apps

Staying in Naubinway weekend of 18th and want to take kids to the falls. What's the best/fastest route and how far is it really? Also, does anyone use any phone apps for the trail system? First time in the UP, usually ride lower the few times we get up.

check fishweb for maps. polaris's trail app is helpful, paper seems easier on the trail for me.

take trail 2 to trail 9, trail 9/45 around east side of newberry. then take trail 45 northeast out of newberry to the falls. i'm guessing about 50 miles one way give/take.

Clintondf has pretty good directions for your trip. The trip from Newberry to the falls is a pretty quick ride. It is about 40 miles from south of newberry to the falls. Naubinway to the falls will be and easy day trip. We just got back from newberry last week and did the loop of newberry-naubinway-seney-grand marais-newberry 175 miles!! Great ride trails were awesome!!
