Looks to be 37-38 on Saturday in the areas I'd like to ride (Florence county towards Eagle River, etc). None of these trails close if it's above 32, right? Is it worth coming up for the weekend? Friday would be okay, but Sat/Sun look warm
No they do not close if it gets above 32. You will be fine, my buddies where in Florence last weekend and said it was great! I love going to my Cabin in Florence Co as it does not get the traffic that Vilas and Oneida Co gets. They are supposed to get a little snow today as well which will help. I heard things towards Eagle River where getting thin after all the traffic last weekend!
My observation from the car: N/S grade thru town was ugly, thin & brown from Trackside south to Dairy Queen yesterday afternoon with standing water at some driveways. Snowing nicely now so things can only get better.
Today's snow will help a lot. Not sure about ER totals but 3 1/2 - 4" in Conover.
