Need help 02 ZR 500

I have an 02 ZR 500 and i cannot get the track to hook up on ice need help cuz i have a race this weekend! I had a 192 studs in it but ppl said it was to many and its causing it to float, so i took out some and have a 144 in now with 10" round bars up front, the sled is also lowered in the front an rear and four bogey wheels out in the middle to make the track sit flater.

It sounds like you need to do some clutch work.I would start by trying a softer secondary spring.

192 not enough to make your track float. When you pull the suspension down you need to do some spring work. If you dont your preloaded like theres no tomarrow

Tito is right make sure you have no give in suspension. That should make things better. Then go to clutch springs for next fix. Keep track of what you do so you can do trial and error every sled and ice condition is diffrent.

The other thing with the front end lowered make sure your track is still flat all the way with loose suspension when you tack off you will have more pressure up front because of the lower front and not spread through the whole track
