Hey guys I need some help I have never owned or looked into owning a doo it's a 96 formula 500 super low miles basically new condition. I am looking at it as a around town beater what's it worth how do they run any issues??

Don't know what it is worth but not much... good engine no power valves....plain Jane 500.....not sure was that the big ole F or the ARM S?... S worth more than F but no parts for ARM suspension if S could drop in SC10. CK Formulas were all triples.

Well I bought it. I know it's an sls 2 cylinder it's piped and studded it has 20 miles on it the track is still shinny. I mean I had to pull carbs and blow dust off and out replaced all rubber seals new primer pump basically I Have replaced everything that had dry rotted or cracked I bought. Out my local sled shop of all there remaining parts for this sled lol. Been a busy. Morning but I'll have it running soon

Should be a good little sled for puttin' around town. It won't be the best ride out there, that's for sure. The biggest challenge you'll find is the primer. How many pumps, how much throttle, warm start VS. cold start...etc....Best bet is to open up the hood when ya prime it so you can watch the fuel go to the carbs.

Well didn't get it running for more than a couple min but I have high hopes for it. Seems like I'm having a fuel delivery problem. I just want it for local stuff here in ft.Wayne, since we don't normally get crap here for snow. But if it's anything like last year I'll have to bring my sno. Pro down and leave the m8 up north for trail an ditch bangin.
