Need help deciding on trailer size

I would like to purchase an enclosed trailer and need some advice as to size. I have two 144" machines (one is a two up the other an Apex XTX) and two 136" machines. I would like to be able to trailer all four machines. I emailed someone at Legend and he said I needed the "29' snow trailer, 24' box with 5' v".

Does this sound correct? Seems huge.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thats what I have 24' plus 5'. I can haul 2-121" plus 3-136" facing the rear they are tight. Plus 1 in the Truck Box and the Cab is full also.

I end up with 5 in my Trailer most of the time. We take a lot of Day trips to the Up. I have had 2-144" in it also with 2-121" and 1-136" but its very tight.

Go with a 29'

Longtrack is right on the money. Spend the little extra on the 29' model and you will not be sorry. Kind of like having a garage, never seem big enough. I had a 2005 trailmaster and sold it and now i am waiting for a custom built 31' legend Trailmaster. I have pulled all sizes of trailers and the legends pull so good that the 29's ive pulled seem to pull better than some of the smaller models of different brands I have pulled.

I'm with the last two guys. If you can afford the 29, buy it!!! You wont be sorry and it will pull like a dream. You may end up with some extra room once your 4 sleds are loaded, but that can end up being a good thing if ever needed.

Thank you all for the responses. Very helpful. I called a dealer closest to me and he indicated almost everyone (except for one customer trailering excavating equipment) buys the 7' wide trailmaster.

Any opinions on 7' vs. 8.5'?

What about trailmaster vs. trackmaster?

Dealer told me trackmaster was stronger/heavy duty. About 2k more than equally equipped trailmaster

We came from an 8.5' to the 7's and the 7's pull like a dream. Best day we ever had with the wide one was the day we sold it and it was going out the drive. Never again! Go all aluminum and it will last a long time!

Just remember I have a 29' 8.5 Wide Trailer and pull it with a 1 Ton Truck if you buy a 29' Steel Trailer like mine a 1/2 Ton Truck will pull it with Leveler Bars but its a Big Load. I took a F250 out west last year and with Leveling Bars it pulled great.

I need a Big Trailer to store 5 Sleds in all Summer and I want a wide one. I can drive in strait and drive out the back without any problems.
