I have a 2009 iq shift 600 136". I stoped at a dead end and waited for my wife, shut the sled off. I then fired her back up and put it in reverse, turned around and hit the reverse button and when it switched into drive it said "service engine" and then went to normal readind. The sled ran great all day after I noticed this. Any ideas why it would say that? 250 miles on the sled.

Some times the computer has set codes or ck codes. For ck track tension bolts ect. there is one at 250 one at 500 1000 it is a reminder so you take it in to ck it out call your dealer he will tell you how to clear it!!!

Every time you start your sled, or at least my 2006 FST Classic is this way, there is a delay in the gauge starting up and Service Engine blinks on the display for several seconds. Take a close look next time you start your sled, I'm guessing that's all it was.

I just crossed the 1500 mark on my sled this year. Now it has service on for a few seconds anytime I start it up, and also if I throw it in reverse.

Just do your own maintenance and it's fine.
