Hi, it is time for me to pull the trigger on a new four stroke sled. I have never owned one but my mind is set on buying a four stroke. If you guys that have four stroke sleds could help me with my next sled, I would really appreciate it! I ride Wisconsin trails, not much of a trail racer mostly a cruiser but do like to turn it up once in a while. Looking for something that handles good and is not to tippy because I only have one leg. Don't care what brand, just want the best for the money. Thank you.

I know the prices on all the four strokes, that is not a problem, just want what is the best suited for my type of riding. And input from four stroke owners.

I might be bias, but I love my fst. handels great lighter than most. and goes like h@ll!

Thanks jeff, the Fst is one that I have my eye on. How is the Fst on high mileage days? I guess I mean your back, do you get sore after a long day on the fst?

Last year was my first season on Ski Doo's 1200 XR. I believe it's the lightest of the 4 Strokes at 500 lbs but very stable in the corners. The engine is quiet, so much so that all you hear is the wind at cruising speed and as you might expect, incredible torque throughout the power band.

The oil and filter change are easy and I believe there's only 3 or 4 grease fittings on the entire machine. My mileage was around 15 miles to the gallon throughout the winter.

There's not much to dislike with the Ski Doo's 1200's. The price will shock you, but you already know that. There's various packages to fit your style and preferences. I must say, they got it right when they designed this one.

I am bias toward the 1200 4-tec but, from what I see and hear, the Vector is a comfortable sled for long days. Like Hoosier said, add power steering, and you could go as long as you can stay awake! The Yami 4 stroke is strong and prooven.

The vector looks like a darn nice sled, you guys that own the vector how is the suspension?
And the ski-doo 1200 is a nice sled, how the suspension on that one?
Thank guys!

I have the TNT so it's stiffer and has the shorter track, built more for performance. The GSX is most likely what you're looking for. It has the Air Ride Suspension, Heated Seat, & Adjustable Handle Bars. It's the touring model of the 1200's, top of the line with all the bells and whistles.

The list price is about the same as an aircraft carrier so make sure you're sitting down when they throw the first numbers at you.

i like the suspension on my vector. it came way to stiff for my weight (170) from the dealers, but there is a ton of information on the totaly yamaha 4 stroke site to help with setting it up for your weight and riding style.
