Need to read odometer on a non-running sled - tip or wiring diagram needed please

Hi,

I have a 2004 Renegade 800 HO DPM with Electric Start that doesn't run and I need to display the miles - does anyone know how to do this or can supply a wiring diagram of the speedometer/tach?

This might be one for DooTalk. The question is where is the odometer memory? Is it in the speedometer or in the control module (my term - I don't know what Ski-Doo calls the processor box). The speedometer might just be a dumb digital display that gets it's data from another source. I'm actually curious about this now.

If you have a REALLY good friend with a similar Rev, you could find this out by removing your speedometer and plugging it into an operating machine. This is actually pretty simple to do. If the two speedometers display different values, yours will be showing the mileage for your sled. If they are the same, the mileage is being stored elsewhere on the sled. Unless, of course, both sleds have exactly the same mileage - highly unlikely.
