Contact DHL. You have to build your own skid to put it on then strap it to the skid. My brother ships vintage sleds all over the U.S. this way. DHL will explain what they want and will pickup at your house if you are there to help them get it on the lift gate. No biggy.
I used uship last month. from Albany NY to Antioch IL - paid $300 uncrated. Delivered a few days late, but there was a nasty storm in NY, so no complaints on my end. His user ID was misterfigs- i think his email was littleutica@yahoo
I do believe that DHL no longer offers U.S. service anymore, and if they do, it's very limited to a select few markets. They couldn't compete with the other carriers.
As for sled shipping carriers, look up any sled on ebay, click the shipping tab, and there should be a couple carriers that will ship sleds. But you'll probably have to contact them for a quote, don't know if their website offer free quotes.
FedX ground frt. will haul it. Called my brother and he said that is how he ships sleds now that DHL has changed names (new owners?) and stopped doing it.
