New electric snowmobile

well I would not want to be under water with one in winter time even if they still keep on running LOL

and I could see DCNR and folks watching this video cringing, as look at what the atv/sxs world has turned into with folks using atv's/sxs's as boats
so many water ways are protected and well??

I can say this about electric vehicles, the power on them must be great till the batteries die
but I just don't know if they will make one that last long enough for a ALL day ride without need to charge em.
I hope some day they can, but think that is a ways of yet

Mrbb...you won't really have to charge it....you know the starters that are the size of your cell phone and can jump a car or charge devices....you will carry 6 of those in your back pack and you will be able to run it for 3 days and 2 nights...simple

well if they make it so they have the same power from start up to end for 2 days, I"M all in
but I don;t think there at that point yet!
the batteries I seen in most electric vehicles have not been that small or light, there still rather large and heavy, and have only a few hours of life under full power!
a lot more resistance running/turning a track in snow than a car rolling down a flat road!

but I gather things will get better as time passes!

There are two potential plusses to them:

1. find a way to mount batteries in the lower rear suspension for a low center of gravity, and think of the great handling (think Tesla)

2. All that time folks have previously complained about 4 stroke compression braking, instead that is now regenerative braking that is rejuicing the battery.

sorry off topic, but these things look impressive too

and getting crazy with what they can do now, future is changing

at the 2;40 or so mark, when he takes off, that looks like some serious speeds going on there, covers some ground pretty fast IMO< be pretty cool to try that!

Artificial intelligent robots are currently working on a new battery and they can charge in 10 minutes and power a car for 650 miles

And a plane even....it will be sooner than you all think
