New Grandson

Corbin James arrived last night after 48.5 hours of labor by c-section. Everybody is doing fine.

That is too long.....way too long. 24 hours is more than enough....that baby should have gotten out via C=section way sooner.

These lousy decisions have a price....often driven by requirements of the insurance carriers. Sadly the mother and kid take it on the head way too long.

Having said that....I can tell you that if this is your first grand kid, get ready for some enjoyment that can scarcely be described.

Something funny about this process....you had kids, and you enjoyed them, but now that your older and much wiser, you will see things you never saw before. Personalities at 3 months or sooner....brains that are working 24/7 and ready to pin you with "what dah heck....kid is thinking that already....wholly smolly..." the list is long.

And it is all yours to enjoy....get ready for the ride of your life....!! Congrats....guy!

Katie kept refusing the C-section against the advice of her mother who is an RN and my first wife who is also an RN. Finally the doctor stepped in and said enough and took the baby by c=section.

This my third but first grandson. I know exactly what your saying.
