So you're playin' way out in da remote boonies, out of cell phone coverage? You want GPS? You want emergency communications capability?

This is at least an interesting concept, 'tho verrry pricy!

I do geocaching and I've been circling on this unit waiting for it to come out the last couple of months. I'm especially curious to see how the Spot unit works, if you check out some of the YouTube vids they make it look like it works great.
Btw, the Delorme PN-40 and the Spot itself have been both on sale or rebated lately, thinking it must be because of the dual system coming out.
