Probably in the wrong section but looking for a quick answer. Im replacing the oil line on my firecat and can't seem to find a clear line that is rated for gas/oil at my local parts stores. Will any clear rubber line work or does it need to be something special. Posted on HCS a few hours ago with no replies.

I would think needs to be rated for fuel and or the heat, never used anything other than rated line. I guess if had to get you by in a pinch would work. Ive always got blue or orange rated line, never seen clear though, at least at hardware stores/shops.

I would use the proper oil line. Any powersports shop should have it. Not worth having it split on you and possibly costing you an engine.

Why not just use fuel line from the autoparts store. Splice in at both ends and call it a day. No need to have clear for anything that I can think of.
