Check this thing out. Never even seen one before. Atleast with the no snow a guy could be out riding a free air bogey wheel suspension sled..... CIMG3418.jpg CIMG3417.jpg CIMG3416.jpg CIMG3419.jpg

I can fix ya up

That is what I'm afraid of the "fixup part" then we would be sure to have record snowfall.lol Looked at a John Deere & we could not get the thing to start. But price was right $0.lol I would use vintage for ice fishing & gkids in yard but as soon as we had decent trails bye bye on my Attak.

Nice machine slimcake. I'm actually looking for one of these, myself.

I used to take my Johnson out in the field every fall...well, let me re-phrase that. As soon as the oats was cut, I'd ride my Skee Horse on the stubble. Slippery as heck - could get the Horse up to almost 16.

Not sure about having an "MF" on the front of my sled. Must be a high performance model though, it has a tach.

I used to have a neighbor that had a nice one with a bad motor in his garage. I offered to buy it but he wanted to fix it and keep it. The last I heard he had put it behind his garage. Now its covered with leaves and its rotting away. Sad.:(

Have run into so many people like that - drives me crazy. Saw a couple of these in a salvage yard yesterday (and one Massey, I think). Probably beyond the "save-able" stage though. Also, bearrassler, saw at least one Herters, maybe two. The gold one didn't look too bad.

You know I think there is an untapped market for that set up. For me would not get further than my 3 acres & the lake but would be a blast!

I have a 77 sno-jet coming. From what I understand it is in real nice shape. I'll post some pics when I receive it.

I LOVE Vintage sleds.
Sold a couple of 71 TX's years back. (at least I took some pictures) :)
Now have a 71 Valmont (Alpine) for antique rides.
I would LOVE to find a Great condition 69 Polaris Mustang.

RuppCollector: VERY NICE!
My favorite Rupp was the 72 Nitro

Slimcake: as a kid I was glad when the Massey's switched to that hood
style instead of the old box one with the big round air vent on the side!
Fix er up and enjoy!

I like it.

Snoluver1 is working hard on the Make-A-Wish sled restoration project. Someone could have a real nice ride to bring to the party!

I think I'm out for this year but I wouldn't rule out the following year. Might look around for a project this spring. This is something that has to be handled very delicately at home, if you know what I mean.
