New TV question

Just bought a new LCD TV. It has an ethernet port, but my computer is across the room, stringing a wire is not do-able.

Does anyone know of a whatchamacallit that I can plug into my PC and TV to wirelessly connect them? I am not trying to connect the TV directly to the internet, just use it as a monitor.

Thanks!

If you are talking about transmitting a video signal wirelessly, that may not work too well.

It would be easier to move the pc and use a wireless router from your modem. Set the puter next to the tv and plug in the monitor directly.

Maybe it can be done?

I do not know anything about this product, but found it online.

If it does work, they should have a pretty solid market. How many people have their tvs in a spot that is not conducive to a computer? I see quite a few over fireplaces.

Maybe someone can chime in about this product.

An Ethernet cable will not carry video to your TV, that Ethernet connection is probably used to get your TV onto the internet to allow web content (like streaming Netflix) to show on the TV.
