New WI crossbow season comming?

Has anyone heard about new regulations for next year? I have heard it will now be open for everyone to hunt with crossbows next year? I cant find anything that confirms the legislation has passed? Anyone have any details?

its not 100% yet. it will be starting for next year. i wouldnt have a problem with it if they dont allow scopes.

Just out of curiosity why no scopes? A crossbow shoots the same distance with or with out, and a scope gives the shooter a chance for a cleaner shot.

^^^ then shoot a rifle. i see more deer wounded during gun season than i do bow hunting.

Again why no scopes? Do you want a better chance of people missing? makes no sense
