Here are some pics from the Munising area from last year. The trails were rough but fun.

This may be really obvious, but I've got to ask. Were those pictures overlooking the cove taken out on Grand Island?

We haven't been there for a long time, but that overlook sure reminds me of a spot we used to like to pull over and have a snack. We were occasionally lucky enough to look "down" to see an eagle flying over the cove.

The pics were just west of Grand Marais by the Picture Rocks. It was quite the drop off looking down and the vertical wind coming off the lake was a good 60-70 mph.

Thanks bt4, it definitely looks similar. I'm guessing Pictured Rocks couldn't be more than a few miles from the spot on Grand Island.

It's been a long spell since we made the ride from Grand Marais to Munising. We'll definitely have to consider that this year.
