ATTENTION NEW YEAR'S EVE SNOWMOBILERS AND PUBLIC...

Are you looking for an alternative to the bar-scene on New Year's Eve this year?

Glad Tidings Church will hold a New Year's Eve Open House Event at 6 pm on December 31st at the Church, 601 Ingot St., Hancock. This will be a cost-free, family-oriented, non-alcohol event - open to everyone. Local and out-of-town snowmobilers are certainly welcome and encouraged. Please join us for an evening of outdoor bonfire / indoor food, fun, fellowship, movie and games. Please come in, warm up from the trail - and make some new friendships & acquaintances with us. We would enjoy meeting you!

PLEASE NOTE: If you ride your snowmobile to the church, please observe all laws and courtesy. Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church is located on Ingot St. eight (8) blocks east of the groomed trail crossing (approx 1/3 mile). Ingot Street is residential, please drive VERY slow and be mindful of exhaust noise levels. If you use a performance can - please be extra-considerate. It only takes one person to ruin it for everyone. There is only one stop sign (at Elevation St.) between the trail crossing and the church driveway. Please use caution and DO NOT STRAY from Ingot Street with your snowmobile. Go straight to and from "church-to-trail" only. (See Google Map below).

Community members and snowmobilers may come and go as they wish. Service or Movie attendance not required, you may continue eating, playing games or be at the bonfire in parking lot throughout entire evening at-will.

5 pm: Bonfire started in church parking lot - hot chocolate served outside.
(The bonfire and hot chocolate will remain until the firewood is gone - hopefully till midnight.)
6 pm - 8 pm: Indoor food & miscellaneous board games, Monopoly, Clue, Scrabble, UNO, Rook, non-gambling card games, cribbage and more...
8 pm - 8:15 pm:: Brief New Year's Eve service (approx 15 minutes)
8:15 pm -10:15 pm: Movie in the church sanctuary; "Do You Believe" (Drama; 2015)

10:15 pm - beyond: More food, board games and socializing will be available in the fellowship hall for those who wish to stay out past midnight.
12 midnight - Video Stream Ball Drop on Big Screen TV in fellowship hall.

Chips, Salsa, Soup, Chili, sandwiches, finger food, junk food, sweets, candy and more will be available including a variety of non-alcohol beverages only.

Police officers may be rolling through parking lot occasionally and are welcome and encouraged to walk-in and make appearances.

The event will conclude with a time of welcoming in the New Year claiming God's promises.
