Hey John , I know this is a ways out but we are doing things a little differently by taking our family vacation a little later this year. Jan. 1st thru jan 5th to avoid the holiday traffic. My question is do you have any ways of predicting the weather that far out yet . My biggest fear is the last 2 years we had snow up there pre Chrismas but melted and ruined a lot of plans . By the way we are staying in Watersmeet. Thanks so much , paul.

Sorry, it is a way's out and also I just cannot get into providing personal forecasts. With over 12,000 board members and about 5 times that more visitors a day, things could get a little busy if I did!

Keep checking the forecasts on the site as I know a lot of folks make trips to the Northwoods during the holidays and I will be commenting as much as I can, as soon as I can for that time frame.

I have been in Watersmeet at the casino for the last 2 years and riding has been really good. We go Jan 1st to the 5th also. You never can check in before 4 because everyone is till hungover and sleeping in. It should be fine.

Thanks John I will like always keep checking, Harvest lol , but just booked another night , we are going fri now instead of Sat. got lucky on getting the extra night especially new years eve. night. Im pumped because usually my wife gets her way and we end up going to Fla. for new years but I told hert last year we were going to the U.P. this year and she laughed , but low and behold she agreed and my son and i just about pd. our pants and I got on the phone and booked it before she changed her mind.
