So weird how some parts of the country never gets national recognition for their weather. Seems like most stations like the weather channel focus 75% or more of their attention on the east coast. The U.P. almost never gets attention to their big snow events. Then the U.P. gets 6" of snow and kids go to school and barely gets a mention if at all then places like Chicago gets the same 6" and schools shut down and it's called a major winter storm.

I think it's because most all media is focused on the east and west coasts. Here in fly-over country, not so much. If you can find a local guy, that's probably the best you can hope for. Our local TV is out of Green Bay and there's a couple of good ones there.

Good to see the east get some good snow. They have had a few bad winters in a row so be nice for all the sledders out there to be able to ride there sleds. Would love to go out to Maine and ride and who knows maybe this will be the year. Looks like the West & East our getting snow. Now where is our snow?

Update; the maiden ride found a water hole. The sled went in on its side and both riders flew. No injuries. Fellow sliders help them right the machine (pictured), then pull it to clean snow. Our son and daughter in law were soaked and muddy, but home safe.

Looks like he didn't make it very far.....lol
Live and learn when it gets that deep it’s time to understand the limits of you machine. When snow starts constantly coming over your tall windshield and you are on a trail sled you start wondering how did I get here and how do I get out this won’t end well. Lol
