NFL Draft Tonight

Following the Da Bears in the off season & they have been very active signing many defensive free agents & a bunch of WRs.The d needs a complete overhall not sure why so many receivers that probabaly will not make the team. Da Bears draft #14 in the 1st round & I'm thinking a top ranked Safety or DT would be best team pick. The wild card in the draft is QB Manziel & if Cleveland does not take him at #4 he could very well be around at #14 & who knows what the offensive minded Emery would do in that case for #2 QB behind Cutler? Any who I'm sticking with a Safety or DT at #14 & a 2nd round RB pick. How about your teams?

If I was the GM of a pro football team, I would pick the guys with the shortest police blotter report then worry about their 40 speed later. Crazy stuff going on in the college and university level athletic departments around the country.

I posted about this a little while ago, but I saw the movie Draft Day in early April. It was great, and now has done exactly what I'm sure the NFL wanted, which is giving me more interest in the draft. Normally I'll just read about it the next day, but who knows maybe I'll tune in tonight to see what happens.

I liked it better when it was on sat, and sun. Could have it on in the background when doing other things.

The Bears will draft defense. The Pack will draft defense. The Lions will draft defense. The Vikings will draft Johnny Manziel and he will be a dud.

Bears r gonna go best defensive player available. They have needs in all areas. No chance they draft manzeil. Cutler is gaurenteed 3 more years of money. Couldnt pay manziel nor waste a 1st round pick on a backup. I could see them taking a QB later rounds if they like one of the not so talked about guys. And if they have no faith in palmer as backup. Im interested to see where manziel goes. I think its gona be #2 to jacksonville. Manziel is like a fireworks show. Hard to pass up and very exciting. Even tho I dont think he will be a 10 year vet. Wherever he goes he will bring lots of attention and sell lota tickets win or lose. If he falls to Minnesota.....I think they gota take him or bortles or bridgewater. Cant win in todays NFL without a QB. BEAR DOWN

Opinons about Manziel run hot or cold doesn't seem to be any middle of the road for the poor guy. His size bothers me but then look at Russel Wilson Manziel is bigger than Wilson. I probably would draft Bortles or Bridgewater @ QB much bigger pocket passers more NFL ready. The Jags could use Manziel to put fans in empty seats & let him run around for his life & be very entertaining for a team going no where soon.

Well the "johnny bowl" kept my attention for almost 3 hours. Not sure why, other than it was a slow night at my house. Interesting how everyone thinks the player they got was the perfect fit, eventhough there are about 5 options that also would have been perfect.

I wouldn't call him a poor guy

As usual emery picks someone no one else seen coming. Sounds like he's a good player.I really wanted Aaron Donald but St.Louis snagged him. Suprised dix fell all the way to GB, think thats a solid value pick for them. Was SHOCKED that Minnesota took Barr as he was supposed to fall way lower and didnt seem that impressive but who knows. I like Bridgewaters mentality but he isnt very accurate and he HAS to wear a glove which would worry me. He threw with no glove at pro day and stunk the place up.. Either way minn a couple years out with rookie QB. Detriot goes TE in ebron. For some reason they just dont worry me at all. It will come down to bears and pack again for the division IMO. Watch out for St.Louis tho ...they have a stacked roster....NFC west is gonna kill each other. Niners NFC title Game and stacked roster, obviously seattle is stacked, arizona had 10 wins last yeat in tuffest division, and St. Louis is quitly building a good roster. Its gona be a blood bath to get thru the NFC this year. Whoever is healthiest in the end will prolly be their. Cant wait until football season cause that means we r that much closer to riding again :)

Fuller has the stats to be a 1st rounder & many thought Long was taken too early last year but played very well for a rookie O lineman. Fuller was #1 cornerback on the Bear Board & can play special teams as well so he has a 1st year spot on the team. I thought Clinton Dix would have been a sound pick but Da Bears signed 2 free agents at Safety so willing to let competition sort it out. Hoping for a 3rd down super quick RB in at 51 or 82 pick tonight or a very good back up RB. The Lions want to be a O shootout team not very concerned about D not sure about all the giant receivers as you can't get them all on the field at the same time maybe more D in later rounds

The Lions have decided that if they can score 98 points a game they will win most games. They will probably trade Suh away for a slot receiver like Welker. The Lions are just weird.

Da Bears could use Suh but Lions have no chance without him... betting Suh would luv to be a Bear too. I guess if everytime you have the ball you can score & your D sucks best to be a shoout team but going to stink if #1 QB goes down.

I'm happy with Da Bears draft... got a Punter,QB,RB & lots of help on D in early draft rounds. RB is a north south back not a speed guy but if he can put the ball in the the end zone from a yard out he could be a good find.:)
