Nicest place to stay in Land o Lakes? Best food too

The Enchanted Loon is very cool and historical place, stayed there this past summer. It is for sale if you want to buy it! The owner was the high school coach for a very famous NFL quarterback.

Keep going and stay at Watersmeet Casino or Running Bear Resort. Casino has great food and cheap rooms.
2nd the Running Bear Resort then you have BC & Watersmeet for food & drinks + the Casino. The Casino is nice but I had to put sleds back on trailer every night just too many people around & blind areas from room. Gateway also good but boring stayed there soooooooo many times. Trails always better Paulding on up north +Mike grooms so knows exactly how the trails are doing.

It really depends on what your needs are. In lando there is a bunch of things very close to lodging vs. farther north. in Lando Sunrise if you want to got the cabin route, they do have a range of sizes to choose from. If you want a room then the Gateway. If you want to go further than Running Bear for sure.
For food I go to the Black Oak, Country Store, Redmans and Bear Trap. South of there there is even more in Conover, Phelps, Boulder, Presque Isle all not to far away, but depends on conditions.

There is a wide variety around the Land O Lakes Area. Good food is not hard to find. Like RacerX said not sure what 'Nicest' is. Check out the Northwoods directory here on John's site. A llittle west of town is both the Arrows and Vactionland on the Cisco. They have a lot of 'Nice' single family homes for rent.

Bents Camp on the Cisco Chain I have stayed at the Casino many times and never a problem
We are at the Sunrise right now. Nice cabins and great people. Priced good also. Good place to start from.
