no grooming?

am hearing a lot of talk that WI,MI wont be grooming trails during this covid nightmare
is there any truth to this?????
it would be $$$$$ suicide for all

Where did you hear this???? WI & MI are selling trail permits so money is available for clubs to groom. The only preventive to grooming trails is states withholding grooming funds to clubs. Some clubs that are funded may choose to not groom don’t want operators to share equipment to prevent spread but that’s a personal choice. Governors could shut us down by withholding trail funds or shutting down bar/grills and hotels maybe be able to restrict access DNR trails. For me I haven’t heard a word from any WI clubs other than business as usual.

what better way to curb the migration! Lets hope not for the Northwoods and all the ma and pa places that would needlessly suffer as result of. With the now urgent push for a new stimulus package you have to wonder if worse restrictions are right around the corner. If you are afraid.... STAY HOME! don't rain on my picnic! Lets hope it isn't true!! Hopefully someone who knows maybe at state level could chime in on this and settle the rumor.

just need snow. Only change you will see will be the bar/restaurants. Food will only be offered TO GO. Many places are working on providing outdoor seating.
