No reverse lights on 03 Dodge Ram

I have an 03 Ram 1500 with a 5 speed (yes that is a manual shift) transmission and the reverse lights quit working. I have tested the outlets and do not have power at the bulbs. The fuse is good but I can't get power to the reverse switch on the side of the transmission. Does anyone know if there is a relay or something else in the system between the fuse and the trans switch? Thanks for any help you can give me?

You should have a brown w/green and purple w/black wires at the trans switch, try jumping power to the purple wire just to check the circuit back to the lights. You need to unbolt the fuse box by the battery and flip it over, had a lot of corroded wire problems under there. The brown wire is fed directly from the fuse, no relay. Its connecter c5 that has the wire, I'm still tryin to track down the connector color for you there's a bunch of connectors under there. Try picking through the wires lookin for corrosion and the brown wire. Hope that helps
