My wife, son, and I got up to the cabin this weekend for some riding. Rode mostly trails on Saturday and they were all very good. Sunday my son and I got out into the back country and while the snow was a bit ore set up we still managed to get stuck a time or two! Nearest thing we saw though was 3 moose at one spot, two bulls and a cow.

We stayed in Two Harbors for one of our club rides, with the ALS Blizzard Tour (they raised over $1M - and is the single largest ALS fund raiser in the world, at least that’s what they told us). 230 sleds made the Proctor/Fortune Bay/Two Harbors loop. Yeah, the trail they rode was pretty tore up, but we did our best to avoid riding the same direction they did, and the Voyagers Club out of TH did a FANTASTIC job cleaning up with the groomers after they went through. Threw down 525 miles in 3 days on trails that were mostly very good!

Rode Thurs-Saturday. Nobody was out the first two days and trails were perfect. Rode both north to Lutsen and south to two harbors area, tomahawk, trestle, etc. Got a bit off trail on Saturday and it was nice to have the snow set up. Viper looked like a 2 stroker! 400 miles in 3 days was great for me and my crew. Will be coming back to this area in the future again.
