Wondering if anyone in the Northern Illinois area or West Suburban Chicago area know of a decent sled repair shop (or speed shop) that can do some work for me? I have a 06 Polaris Fusion.

Appreciate your help--

May want to talk to Alex at Fornarelli Motorsports (847-697-7300) in Elgin. They have done some motor improvements on my bike that I was very happy with. I know they work on sleds also but I have never taken one there. They are a quality shop.

We have two Polaris sleds (600 Fusion and 600 IQ) stored in the far south suburbs of Chicago that need to be rejetted (we took them to the snowies last year). We never seem to find the time to get it done, and was thinking of instead taking them to either Lissy's or Goodwin. I'm assuming either can get it done...would either one be better than the other? Lissy's is a little more convenient, but that's probably not the deciding factor. One reason we would like to take them to an "expert" is because they both seem to run a little rich on the stock flatland jetting, and we would like their input on adjusting the jetting a little.

you should learn how to do it. it dosnt take that long and you need to keep switching from flatland to snowies and back. are you changing your clutching along with your jets?

When we went to the Snowies last year, it was a last minute decision since there wasn't a whole lot of snow in the midwest at the time. Ended up having an incredible time out there even with the shorties. We had a dealer in Laramie rejet them, since the price was reasonable (about $70 for labor I think). We changed the clutch weights ourselves in the parking lot of the hotel. I wouldn't mind doing it myself, but I've been told that getting at the jets and then putting everything back together and getting the airbox on right is a PITA on those sleds. I've been planning all off season to try to do it myself, but I just haven't gotten around to it.
